Professional Seminars

For information about health, education, job, financial plan, we conduct seminars by professionals in fields for counselling and application.

We support the recovery from mental health difficulties with professional counsellors in Korean and English.
Counselling for people suffering anxiety, depression, manic depression, insomnia from stress with personal relations, families with problems related to partners, children, education, job, and Koreans suffering from stress with social adaptation.
Connecting to Counsellors: We connect you with counsellors who are culturally sensitive and able to communicate in the language of your preference. The expense can be covered with or without insurance, and you can still get counselling service with affordably. Love Neighbour is able to provide partial support for those who are in need of financial help.

We support immigrants and international students who settle down in the Halton and Hamilton area, by helping them adapt to institutional and administrative difficulties throughout the process of settlement and immigration.
Eligibility:
1) Korean families and international students who have not contracted with immigration service providers.
2) Korean families and international students who have landed in Canada within the last year and cannot afford to consult with service providers due to financial hardships/difficulties.
3) Koreans who have landed in Canada with a visitor visa and have experienced troubles within the last 6 months.
Service:
1) Guidance for basic Information about immigration and studying, airport pickup at landing, houses, schools, administrative information for settlement (driver’s license, health card, car, bank, visa extension, etc.)
2) When applying for service, you must apply 7 days prior to the day you need help to receive the service.
3) The services of Love Neighbour are free, however, if further professional assistance is required and/or requested, with the requester's consent, expenses will be charged.

We support effective communication by providing interpretation services (English and Korean).
Korean residents and students in Halton and Hamilton area.
Service:
1) Primary services include interpretation at government offices, banks, schools, health care facilities, places for contracting procedure and translation of documents. Other requests for interpretation or translation may not apply.
2) Requests for support interpretation must be made 7 days before the date when the service is required.
3) Requests for support translation must be made 7 days before the date when the service is required.
4) The services of Love Neighbour are free, however, if further professional assistance is required and/or requested, with the requester's consent, expenses will be charged.
