A: Regardless of legal status in Canada, any Korean can apply for mental health counseling service through “Love Neighbour”. When you select the language that you are comfortable with (Korean or English), we connect you with a suitable counsellor.

A: “Love Neighbour” does not make any contracts with assistance requesters, and we clarify the specific details of our service to support immigrants and international students who are landing and settling in Canada. When assistance from professionals is needed, we only provide related information to requesters.

A: When your request meets our service requirements as specified above, you can receive our service. However, we need consent from both the requester and the other party and we need to know the date and time for the call in advance so that appropriate preparations can be made.

A: The staff of “Love Neighbour” provides effective assistance according to the requestor’s individual situation. We will explain the information and process about social welfare benefits, and then we can assist you in the application process with your consent.

A: All programs provided by “Love Neighbor” are provided with free service in principle. However, Mental Health Counseling Support is provided with the help of a professional counselor, so the counselor may directly charge the counseling fee. But you will be charged a discounted fee compared to the existing consultation fee.
